Delivery & fulfilment

The short version

• Orders start at $100. The basket says how far off it is before you reach checkout.
• Free delivery on orders over $150. Below that, a flat fee shown in the basket.
• Same-day where the law and the distance allow it; otherwise one to three days.
• Plain, unmarked outer box. Odour-proof sealed pouch inside.
• An adult 21 or older must show ID matching the order name and sign.

Why there is no interstate shipping

Cannabis remains federally controlled in the United States. A THC product cannot lawfully cross a state line — not by post, not by private courier, and not between two premises owned by the same company. Any retailer offering to mail THC nationwide is either shipping hemp-derived product under a different rulebook or is breaking the law.

Virgin Cannabis therefore operates as fifteen separately licensed businesses. When you order, your basket is routed to the premises inside your own state, and that premises picks, packs and delivers it. The “express shipping” language on this site describes an in-state express courier, not a national parcel service.

Delivery windows

Discreet packaging and discreet delivery

Nothing about a Virgin Cannabis order announces what it is. This is policy rather than a courtesy, and it applies identically to a local delivery and to an out-of-town shipment.

The outer packaging

• No branding of any kind. The outer box or mailer carries no logo, no dispensary name, no leaf, and no product reference — only the delivery address and the carrier label.
• A neutral sender. The return address is a street address, not a shop name. Nothing in the sender line identifies the contents.
• No visible description. Where a carrier requires contents to be declared, it reads as general merchandise, which is what the regulations of the states we ship in permit us to write.
• Odour-proof throughout. Every item is sealed in an opaque, odour-proof pouch before it goes in the box. A sealed order does not smell of anything through the packaging.

The delivery itself

• An unmarked vehicle. Our drivers use plain vehicles with no livery and wear no branded clothing.
• No announcement at the door. The driver does not say what they are delivering, and will not say the shop name unless you do first.
• Where you say. Leave a note at checkout — a gate code, a side entrance, a neighbour, a time window — and the driver follows it, so long as an adult 21 or older still signs.
• Nothing left unattended. Discretion never extends to leaving cannabis on a doorstep. If nobody of age is there, it comes back with the driver.

What is inside

The packing note lists the batch reference for each item so you can pull its certificate, and it carries the warnings the law requires. That is the one part we cannot make discreet: state law sets what a cannabis package must say, and we would rather tell you that plainly than have the requirement surprise you when you open it.

What we will not do

We will not mislabel a package to get it past a carrier, and we will not ship to a state we are not licensed in however it is packaged. Discretion is about your privacy at your own front door. It is not a way around the rules, and any shop offering it as one is telling you something about how it handles everything else.

Handover and identification

We check a government-issued photo ID at handover against the name on the order. The person receiving it must be 21 or older. We do not photograph, scan or retain your identification — the driver looks, confirms and hands it over.

If nobody of age is there, the driver cannot leave the order. We will attempt redelivery once, then return it to the premises and contact you.

Tax

Cannabis excise and local taxes vary considerably by state and by municipality. Rather than show an estimate that turns out to be wrong, tax is calculated at fulfilment and itemised on your receipt.
